RELEASE: Robbins Named Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development Fellow
SAINT PAUL, MN – Rep. Kristin Robbins, R-Maple Grove, has been selected to receive a Fellowship for the 2022 Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD). BILLD is the only leadership training program designed exclusively for Midwestern legislators. It helps newer legislators develop the skills necessary to become effective leaders, informed decision-makers, and astute policy analysts.
“I am honored to be selected for the BILLD Fellowship program,” said Robbins, who is in her second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives. “I look forward to taking a deeper dive on issues important to the communities I serve and learning new tools for effective policymaking from other legislators from the around the Midwest.”
Robbins will attend the five-day intensive training program in late August. This will be the 27th year of this annual bipartisan fellowship program, which is run by the Midwestern Legislative Conference of The Council of State Governments (CSG).
