LETTER: Supporting Kristin Robbins in the primary

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Kristin Robbins for State Representative in the open House District 34A seat, vacated by Rep. Joyce Peppin.

I have known Kristin personally for over 30 years, and I’ve seen her in good times and in challenging times. Kristin is a caring, trustworthy and hopeful person whose presence is a great encouragement to her family, friends, and colleagues. These foundational values of hers have remained consistent through changing circumstances.

Whether it’s volunteering at a food shelf, teaching Sunday School, coaching Destination Imagination, casting vision as a board member, or meeting with CEO’s of Minnesota companies, she brings a spirit of compassion and joy to her work. Everyone who knows her understands that Kristin makes our community a better place to live. She is hard-working, brave and kind.

If you’re looking for a person who has demonstrated for decades the highest of integrity and who really cares about people, please join me in supporting Kristin in the Aug. 14 Republican Primary.
