To the Editor:
Thank you to Joyce Peppin for serving this district for many years. We are sad to see her leave the legislature, but we wish her the best of luck in the next phase.
There are two Republican candidates running in the primary to replace Rep. Peppin. Kristin Robbins, who filed for the office on May 31st, is running a strong campaign and I’m supporting her in the upcoming Republican primary on Aug. 14.
Kristin represents our values and will be a great legislator for Maple Grove, Dayton, and Rogers. She’s a wife and mom to three girls, an active member of New Hope Church, and volunteers for many important causes. Kristin is a fiscal and social conservative who really cares about people.
Best of all – Kristin understands the important issues facing our region and our state and knows how to get things done. Her work on economic and education issues, as well as reducing wasteful government spending, has made a difference for Minnesotans, and we know that she’ll continue to do great work representing all of us. You can find out more about Kristin and her positions at www.KristinRobbinsMN.com.
I encourage you to vote for Kristin Robbins in the Aug. 14 primary – she is honest, hardworking and ready to lead.
